PCC EHR Version 2.1, coming in June, will be the first in a series of three releases that will add new and highly desired task management functionality to PCC EHR. Version 2.1, will include new tabbed task queues for the Schedule, Rx Tasks (not visible in these pre-release pictures), Phone Tasks, and Signing. In June, PCC EHR customers will also receive improved tools to allow signing providers to efficiently track and complete signing tasks.

Our new Electronic Encounter Form in PCC EHR will be released in Version 1.10 later this month! This feature will allow your practice to eliminate the paper Encounter Form from your clinical workflow. We have designed both an electronic version of the encounter form and a tool to configure it. When this feature is released, providers can choose to send charges from PCC EHR to Partner electronically, saving time and trees.
Among the new features in PCC EHR, Version 1.6.1 is the Medical Summary screen. This screen contains at-a-glance style lists of problems, reminders, allergies and medications pertaining to the patient.
PCC has just come out with a new release of PCC EHR, Version 1.6.1, which includes new e-prescribing tool, PCC eRx, powered by DrFirst. EHR Project Manager Bill VanDeventer said of the partnering decision, "We researched many third party e-prescribing companies and chose DrFirst because of their leadership in the industry and because they provided us the ability to integrate their service tightly into PCC EHR. We wanted to ensure that our customers could access and use the prescription module without any disruption to the flow of the medical visit." Additionally, DrFirst is a Surescripts certified product.
