Chairman Harkin announced today a Senate Hearing on Restraint and Seclusion scheduled for May 17th (details below). Hearings are broadcast live on the HELP Committee Website at http://www.help.senate.gov/ Witnesses will be announced at a later date.

Every child is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. No child with or without a disability should be subjected to abusive treatment under the guise of providing educational services.
