New in 2009, we've added a web component and increased the frequency of these pediatric coding education events. Monthly weblabs are held the second Tuesday of every month and are hosted by PCC's certified coder, Jan Blanchard. These will now be held on a rotating schedule beginning at 12:00, 1:00, and 2:00 Eastern Time. Register online or download this pdf and fax it to us at 802-846-8178.

Wednesday November 18, 2009
Start: 14:00
End: 15:00

Find the appointment best fit to your patient's and doctor's needs in Partner's scheduler, sam. Attendees will learn how to effectively search by provider, visit type, and use different time frame search criteria to quickly find the right available appointment slots. We'll demonstrate advanced schedule views (day, detailed, and normal views) and features, such as provider free time which helps users distribute appointments among providers.

Attendees will also learn how to efficiently schedule consecutive sibling visits using the “next relation” function, how to add appointment notes (which can be configured to print on encounter forms to notify providers of important appointment details), and how to force in appointments (if that function is available to the user). Register online or download this PDF form and fax it to us at 802-846-8178.

Thursday November 19, 2009
Start: 12:00

Did you ever wish your superstar billers had more time to work on meaningful tasks like appeals? Partner can help fulfill this wish for more time. New this fall, you can opt to have Partner automatically post insurance payments. You choose which checks to post automatically and, with the push of a button, Partner will post as much as it can automatically. Then, you'll receive a report of the items you must post manually. Our best test results show that Partner can post over 50% of insurance payments automatically!

This weblab will provide a short introduction to the new 'autopip' feature of Partner, and how to prepare for this new feature by making sure you are signed up to receive electronic remittance advice (ERA). Then, we'll open the floor to your questions about how to transition and what to expect.

Check out our auto-posting training video before the weblab to familiarize yourself with this new feature. Receive extra credit for reading the documentation too!

Register online now or download this PDF and fax it to PCC at 802-846-8178.

If this time doesn't work for you, you'll have two other chances to catch this weblab on either December 10 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. or January 12 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Register for the December or January Weblab instead.

Use your staff resources wisely—have your properly trained checkout desk users post charges and collect/apply copays and other time-of-service payments before the patient leaves your office. Pick from the list of checked-in patients (or search for a patient by “magic word” or name) to quickly post diagnoses and procedures, detailed hospital visit information, and payments for today's visit—even print a TOS receipt for your patient. (Partner's “dailycheck” report can be used later to reconcile encounter forms against what was posted in the checkout program.)  Register online or download this PDF form and fax it to us at 802-846-8178.
